TEMPEH KHEEMA
Ingredients (makes 1 large/2 medium servings)

1 packet of Tawa 𝐓𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐲𝐲 , crumbled
1 chopped onion
1.5 tsp ginger garlic paste
3 slit green chilli
1 chopped tomato
1 tsp red chilli powder
1 pinch turmeric powder
1/2 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp pepper powder
1 tbsp coconut milk
2 tsp ghee or olive oil
1-2 bay leaves
Salt and water as required
Method
Method:
- Into a hot pan, add ghee and bay leaves.
- Once it begins to sizzle, add in chopped onion and green chilli.
- Sauté until golden brown, add the ginger garlic paste to this.
- Sauté again and add tomato.
- Add in the spice powders once the tomato is cooked out, followed by the crumbled 𝐓𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐲𝐲.
- Add in water, coconut milk and salt as required.
- Cover and cook until desired consistency is achieved.
- Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with rice, roti or Pav!
