SPICY CREAMY PANEER POTATO CURRY

50 grams Paneer cubes (or boneless fish cubes)
60 grams Potato cubes
1 tsp Ghee
1 -2 small Cinnamon stick
1 small Sliced onion
1 tbsp Chopped ginger and garlic
1-2 Slit green chill
2 medium Sliced tomato
2 tsp Chilli powder
1 pinch Turmeric powder
1 tsp Garam masala
1 tsp Pepper powder
Salt to taste
5-6 almonds for Almond paste
1.5 tbsp Thick coconut milk
Method
Method:
- Add cinnamon sticks into hot ghee.
- Sauté onion, ginger, garlic, chilli until golden.
- Add tomato and cook it on high until it softens.
- Add in the spices and salt and cook for a few mins.
- Add the potato, cover with enough water.
- Cover and cook until potatoes are soft.
- Add the paneer and mix well.
- Mix in the almond paste and coconut milk.
- Season with more salt, a pinch of sugar/jaggery and a squeeze of lime.
- Enjoy it while it’s HOT with some steamed rice, roti or even dosa! 😋
